Now we are 7 weeks!

The pups are now 7 weeks and starting to go to their new homes.

Three youmg ladies are still waiting to find new homes:

Amelia Tinkerbell is such a sweet puppy. She is very small but no runt!!! Content to sit and be cuddled, she also sat happily on the vet bed for this photo!!! However, she is up and into mischief when set back down to play!!

Chunky Monkey reminds me of Bramble as a pup. I put my hand down and she was the first one I picked out of the litter; she really felt the chunkyness!!!! Absolutely adorable, she was very keen to cuddle up but no way was she going to sit on the vetbed for a photo!!! She really enjoyed being taken into the kitchen to see everyone and have cuddles and photos! Definitely up for mischief when the cuddles were over, and ready to come back out when put back with the others!!!

...and when I went back, there was Bright Button very keen to have her turn - and there was me thinking it would be difficult to find the girls!!! She was more than happy to see everyone and insisted on a big cuddle before the photoshoot!!!  As with both others she was very responsive to calls and taking note of everything. Also very keen to run around and find trouble.   These pups are really happy, content bright and active. Shame I already have enough dogs!!!!

'Three little girls from Mistigri are we tra la'

Only 3 little girls are left without homes now!!! They are all growing so fast and love to escape and find their mum's food - dry or not, they are game and find it very quickly!!!!  However, they are, at the same time, calm, cuddly little pups like their mum and their dad who are both calm and affectionate while being very capable of learning!!

Here they are tucking into their own food!!

After their meal they are ready to explore again!!

Now, of course, a run around, and, of course, a cuddle :)

...and just showing off...

Now who couldn't love that little face???

6 weeks old and growing fast!!

The pups are now 6 weeks old.  They are all eating well and very active.  One pup managed not only to get out of the whelping box to poo on the utility room floor but managed to climb back in as well!!! Clever puppy!!  Others are also climbing out but not always managing the return journey ;)

Here are two of the little girls.  There are one dog and  three bitches yet to find their homes.

Here is one smart cookie - the pup is smart too :)

This little pup, hiding Dani, is Dani's favourite.  She is a bold little girl, always there for food, a cuddle or a photo!!!

Below is the tiniest pup.  Little Tinkerbell is absolutely adorable - so cuddly!!!! She reminds me of my Teasle (also Doris' pup) as well as one of Teasle's pups who was also tiny.  The pup is very gentle and has beautiful, kind eyes.  I am very tempted but I only have chocolates :)

loving a cuddle!!!

and, of course, a kiss ;)

Oh, I am sooooooo gorgeous!!!!

4 weeks old and up and about!!

Doris' pups are really getting around now. They are all quite enchanting - of course; this young pup definitely has something on his mind!! He quite determinedly marched over to see what was going on!!!

If you try to sneak in for a look your find that you are the one under scrutiny. 9 pairs of bright blue eyes wondering whether you will make a good meal, or maybe just have brought a good meal.  Skinner's puppy food is what they are now eating and thoroughly enjoying!

This young man may be a bit blurred, but he was quite certain there was something worth getting up for! Those in the background are just waiting for him to let them know if it was worth moving for  ;)

They were wormed at 2 and 4 weeks and have had their claws trimmed so that they don't injure each other when they try pup-mountaineering. It also protects poor Doris when they are pumping her for milk.

Little and large here team up to intimidate the photographer.  Both are full of energy and absolutely adorable.

Up and Running!!

Well, actually not running but walking very sturdily around and barking if there is any chance of food coming their way!

Keeping an eye out; nails clipped, bright eyed and bushy tailed!!

Doris keeping an eye out for marauders, or passing food!

Still keeping watch while the others sleep - just in case food arrives, they can be first to get to it :)

Day 10 in the whelping box

Feeding frenzy at Doris' milk bar. So cozy that this pup is practising the inverted drinking method - usually reserved for exclusive clubs!!

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz - post prandial nap!
yum, yum, yum!!!!
Aren't I pretty? Can I come out now?....please!!!! Doris is actually a very good mum :)

Who's the daddy ...and the Mama?

Eastdale Kenny at Mistigri
With a hip score of 11, clear elbows and eyes as well as a current clear eye test and clear Optigen and CNM tests; Kenny is handsome, steady dog with a lovely temperament. He is demonstrating his fantastic pedigree which is jam packed with Field Trial Champions as he progresses through his own gundog training.  You can see more fabulous photos and Kenny's pedigree if you follow this link:

As Kenny is a Mistigri dog, he can be seen alongside the dam, beautiful Remstock Mucky Duck at Mistigris, know to her very many admirers as Doris.  Her hip score is 9 and she has a current clear  eye test.

Here she is today with her lovely puppies.   Doris is a fabulous dog with a wonderful calm temperament which she has passed on to her previous litters.   Her previous puppies  have all been equally well natured, biddable and have trained up well.  One in particular is sitting here with her head on my lap as I blog.

Here you see how she loves her pups and is a little unsure just what that photographer is up to!!!

As you can see, she is a very loving mum to her pups.  Here you can see her tendency to put her paw protectively around her pups!
